Washington, D.C. – The American people do not want their health care taken away in order to fund trillions in tax giveaways for the wealthy and corporations. Congressional Republicans have tried to spin their billionaire-first tax agenda by lying about the impact of their draconian cuts to Medicaid and other essential services, but people aren’t falling for it. 

Here are some highlights of what Americans all across the country are seeing in their local outlets about the impacts of Medicaid cuts:

WLWT News 5 – Cincinnati, Ohio: “Community providers like, Equitas Health here in Ohio — they warn that tens of thousands of low-income Ohioans could lose their health care if those cuts are approved.”

 

Idaho News 6 – Nampa–Boise, Idaho: “The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office has said that under the current GOP proposal, Republicans will need to cut Medicaid if they want to meet their savings target.”
