Washington, D.C. – As Republicans in Congress struggle to advance their overwhelmingly unpopular Billionaire Tax Scam, the Families Over Billionaires campaign is turning up the pressure on lawmakers. Today, we are launching a new, six-figure ad campaign that highlights how Republicans plan to raise costs on everyday Americans and kick millions off health insurance, so they can give bigger tax breaks to their wealthy donors.
The campaign will run from May 5th through May 19th to keep the pressure on House Republicans during a critical few weeks in the 2025 tax debate. During this time, Republicans are planning to formalize the details of their billionaire-first agenda, including health care cuts in the Energy & Commerce committee, food assistance cuts in the Agriculture committee, and billionaire tax breaks in the Ways & Means committee. The ads will run across major social media platforms and on target websites, including Politico and the Wall Street Journal.
