“Republicans’ plans to gut Medicaid in order to give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy are unpopular, and Donald Trump knows it. That’s why he’s trying to distract from their toxic tax plan with yet another stunt on prescription drug prices. If Trump was serious about bringing down drug prices, Republicans would put that into their tax plan instead of trying to ram through a Billionaire Tax Scam that is going to cause skyrocketing health care costs and millions to lose coverage.”
