Washington, D.C. – As Republicans in Congress push forward with committee markups on their Billionaire Tax Scam, Families Over Billionaires is keeping the pressure on lawmakers with a new mobile billboard ad campaign calling out their plan to raise costs on working families and kick millions off health insurance, all to give bigger tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy.
The billboards launch today and will run for three straight days in Washington D.C., on a route directly around the Capitol and House office buildings. The billboards will ensure House Republicans and their staff can’t escape reminders about the devastating consequences their tax scam will have on the American people. This campaign will run as Republican lawmakers hold markups in the Energy & Commerce, Agriculture, and Ways & Means committees, and builds off Families Over Billionaires’ ongoing six-figure ad buy around the markups.
